Monkeys for a Monkey

It only took about a million years, but I FINALLY finished this quilt I've been working on for my nephew Bud. I'm really happy with how it turned out, and in a way it's good it took me so long because the way I ended up doing the binding is way cuter than the way I had originally planned. And yes, I did stitch around every single one of those circles. Oy. Now I've just got to get Cindy Lou's stitched and bound. Maybe by Christmas?

I can't begin to express how cool that is. I love it!

I know that Bud will not even come close to appreciating the effort that you put in on this--but I do! Thanks sis! I absolutely love it! I kind of hope Bud gives it to me instead.

The prospect of getting that quilt is almost worth having another baby for...almost....

Bud has been asking to see the pictures of his quilt almost every day. He loves it! I can't wait!

Love it. Will you teach me how you did the binding so I can do something more interesting the next time I make a quilt?

I saw a sock monkey at Target the other day and was so tempted to get it to go along with the quilt, but I didn't, of course. Still working on that retail therapy.

Wow! That quilt is so cute I'm almost tempted to want another baby. Almost. But, I have learned that those cute babies grow up to be teenagers- and no one gives you gifts for having teenagers, but that is when you totally deserve it!

nat!

Having still not finished my second quilt, I can't believe that you stitched each circle. Amazing! And oh so cute.
