LOVE the frog costume. And wow, B's hair and skin look even darker with a blond, fair sibling sitting next to her. Amazing what turns up in the gene pool, isn't it?

Yeah--and even with her jaundice going away, she's still dark. I think she looks like I should have looked, i.e., a combination of my parents. My dad's coloring, mouth and chin, my mom's nose, feet, hands and funny ear-holes. Haven't seen anything from Mavis's side at all.

Cute costumes -- especially love the frog!

The frog is a handmedown from his older brother. Keep your fingers crossed that he'll be okay with being a bunny next year, and a ghost the year after, so I won't have to make/purchase any new costumes. :) I'll be doubly lucky if Miss B is okay with being a bee next year (Number 2's costume from last year), then frog, bunny, ghost. After ghost (age 4) I don't mind if they want to be something different--age 5 for Number One was medieval warrior (borrowed from his cousins), age 6 was the fantastic but unwieldy robot I made, and this year's cowboy was nothing to write home about.

Maybe one of my younger children will have a creative bone in his or her body and want to be something like a "blood monster." ;)
